With an extensive coaching career spanning both professional and collegiate levels, Cronin brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the world of hockey.

Cronin's coaching journey began with his co-founding of the United States National Development Program in 1996, alongside Jeff Jackson and Bob Mancini. As the Head Coach of the USNTDP Under-18 Team, he played a pivotal role in shaping the future of American hockey talent. During this time, Cronin also served as an Assistant Coach for the 1997 World Championship Team and the 1997 and 1998 World Junior Championship teams, earning a silver medal in 1997. Additionally, he contributed to the success of the Bridgeport Sound Tigers as their Head Coach from 2003 to 2005.

Cronin's expertise extends beyond the rink, as he earned a Master's Degree in Business from the University of Maine in 1990, concurrently serving as a graduate assistant for the hockey team.
